I got up this morning feeling very sluggish. My sugar was down and I worked very hard to build it up. I hate how I feel when I've bottomed out. It's like I'm moving in slow motion and not getting any where.

I wasn't going to do Christmas cards this year but I found I had 2 1/2 boxes of cards among my decorations. I feel like I ought to give the teaching staff at Southside a card from me. I can't afford much else. I'm also mailing out some to friends and to Mom. I've got some for the district members tomorrow. I will have to buy another box of cards. I've already addressed all that I had. I don't know- I guess I'm beginning to have the Christmas spirit. Not really the idea of giving or spending money I don't have- but of love for my fellow man. I've even got a Christmas card for my ex-husband.

Right now I'm trying to figure out what the advent is and what it means for me. I seem to remember advent calendars from when I was a child but when I queried Mom she didn't know what I was talking about.

"Guys and Dolls" is on right now. I've just finished working on my apartment. I rearranded some things in three rooms- the living room, spare room and my bedroom. I mopped the kitechen floor. I hate that floor. The lineoleum never seems to get clean. It's old and worn out. I cleaned the bathroom a little. I have the Christmas tree up for the first time in 4 years and a serenity spot in the living room. So, I'm going to sit down in front of the television and watch this golden oldie.
